John McLeod

John’s deep passion for entrepreneurs has been a constant throughout his life. Growing up in a household of business owners, and further shaped by his experiences working as a caddy from ages 11-18 at the local golf course, John had the privilege of building relationships with exceptional investors and entrepreneurs. He was inspired by their vision, drive, and passion, sparking his own love for business at an early age.

After over 11 successful years in investment banking—closing more than 40 deals and helping businesses grow through mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises—John has returned to his true passion: working directly in small businesses. Now, he uses his expertise to help small businesses grow, scale, and realize their full potential, bringing the same commitment to their success that inspired him from the start.

Will Hupp

Throughout his 14-year tenure at Estes Express Lines, the largest privately held trucking company in the U.S., Will has gained extensive operational experience in managing complex logistics, optimizing business processes, and leading large teams. He has held various leadership roles focused on improving operational efficiency, driving strategic growth initiatives, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across multiple locations. Will currently serves as a District Operations Manager, where he oversees day-to-day operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads cross-functional projects to enhance productivity and service quality. His deep understanding of operational leadership within a large, family-owned business equips him with valuable insights that will be invaluable as an operational advisor to the fund, helping businesses scale effectively while preserving their core values.
